We want to craft the most innovative, inspiring and original musical keyboards that can ever be produced today with the technology of tomorrow. This time we have challenged ourselves with more in-depth studies, intense experimental research and hard- working studio sessions, by involving great international musicians. We aim to offer professionals and to the most demanding music lovers an instrument that would represent the new State-of-the-Art Arranger in the world.
We did not stop until we reached the highest quality standards, so that cutting-edge technology could also generate the most realistic sounds.
The result of our hard and passionate work is EVENT-X: try it out and experience what it means to play accompanied by a full band of real musicians.
Now you can play jam sessions with the original sounds of a real electric organ imagining a jazz trio playing behind you. If you love dance music, you can bring EVENT-X with you on stage: the realism of the arrangements will ensure everyone’s attention and a packed lively dance floor.
Playing with EVENT-X is an emotional experience. We are delighted to share it with you.
Style

EVENT-X is designed to provide easy access to the most sophisticated style architecture functionalities ever developed on an arranger keyboard. Over 400 Styles are available: divided into Real Styles, Live Styles or MIDI Styles according to the contents, with the possibility of saving any customized configuration on the User memory.
The Real Styles, with their impressive authenticity, stand out because some of the backing tracks are in full audio format. It features a rich manual Lower section, with three independent parts and Mono / Poly modes. You can also find an advanced Style Edit area to program your new styles.
Drums
Over 580 Real Drums
The rhythm section features over 580 Real Drums, complete drum patterns covering a wide variety of musical genres with Intro, Ending, 4 Variations, Fill and Break.
Unlike other musical instruments, where the rhythmic sequences are mostly short loops controlled via MIDI, EVENT has real studio recordings of professional drummers available in eight or more measures, without any cuts or editing. The ending result is incredibly smooth and natural. EVENT adds Real Drum track equalization, as well as the Drum Lock mode which allows to loop the rhythmic pattern that is being played.
Furthermore, there are 94 new stereo Drum Sets: with Drum Mixer and Remap, which give you the option to reassign the individual percussion sounds and saving them on the 32 available User Drum locations. The Groove mode is outstanding, with over 700 percussive sequences, three independent Groove parts that control loops as you would find them in the House, Hip Hop and Latin genre, as well as an amazing variety of Afro-Cuban or Brazilian type Latin percussions with Conga, Shaker, Maracas, Cowbell, Cajon, Tambourine and many more.
Bass
Real bass lines recorded in the studio by real bass players
EVENT-X bass section provides a wonderful library of 256 Real Bass: bass lines that are recorded in the studio by real bass players on various tones and perfectly synchronized with the rhythm of the style. It is impossible to resist let yourself be carried away by the energy of these bass lines, from traditional Ballads, Soul rhythms, to Disco Funk.
The tone color, the various keys correct positions on the neck and all the natural vibes of the performer give the sensation of playing with a real bassist next to you! Real Bass adapts naturally to chord changes, as if it were a normal MIDI bass, even playing To Lowest mode with the bass upside down on the lowest note! It is easy to switch between MIDI bass and Audio in real time (Twin Bass), as well as modify the voice of the Real Bass using a parametric equalizer or lock the current set using the Lock Bass mode. The series of functions available for Bass such as Manual, To Lowest, To Root and Bassist are particularly refined, the latter for a combined control of the chord obtained between the Manual bass and the notes played on the right. Finally, the Multibass supports custom Bass progressions for various chords.

Stem plays up to five audio tracks simultaneously in perfect sync. Each audio track has individual Mute and Volume controls, it is also possible to change its pitch and Tempo without altering the pitch of the rhythm. It is also possible to exclude one or more tracks from playback, for example Piano or Bass, in case you want to play them live. A typical use of Stem is the playback of backing tracks with or without singing (Minus One), a particularly useful application for singers, guitarists in a live performance, but also for reed instrument soloists such as sax or trumpet.

It is hard not to get carried away by the energy of these bass lines, from traditional Ballads, Soul rhythms, to Disco Funk. The series of functions available for Bass such as Manual, To Lowest, To Root and Bassist are particularly refined: for example, the latter recognizes the chord by combining the notes played both on the right part and on the Manual bass part. The Multibass also supports custom Bass progressions for various chords.
Chords
Perfectly Synchronized
Real Chord is also the most elaborate and entertaining feature of EVM. You can control many guitar tracks or other instruments in real time: everything can be performed on several tonalities, including all chords on the scale. Over 300 Real Chords, including a wide range of recordings such as Folk, Jazz, Nylon, Electric guitar, and other instruments too like sax, harmonica, violin, trumpet and so on, all perfectly synchronized with MIDI into the arranger architecture.
The Real Chord features a dedicated EFX Insert with Chorus, EQ, Overdrive, Phaser, Wah and other effects. The Real Chord pattern can be locked using the Lock Chord function to obtain “ostinato” peculiar of the Disco Funk genre. Just listen to one of the EVM’s Unplugged styles and get ready to be amazed by the authentic sound of a simple acoustic guitar. EVM also has a vast library of Live Guitars (guitar loops managed by slices and controlled via MIDI), Long Chord and five MIDI chords, capable of playing simultaneously and with different voices and volume. Another noteworthy feature is the Multichord section, with piano accompaniments, strings and other orchestral parts programmed for any given tones.
Modeling
New Patterns in Seconds
The powerful Audio Style Modeling system was engineered to provide a huge range of musical solutions, with the possibility of managing both the audio tracks of Real Drum, Real Bass and Real Chord and the orchestral MIDI tracks that you want to add to the arrangement. Navigation is easy and you can create new rhythmic or harmonic patterns in just a few seconds. EVM is also expandable: you can customize it by adding sounds and styles along with audio recordings of rhythm, bass and chords.
Sounds
World-Class
EVM offers premium sound quality and world-class voices to deliver the best-in-class professional arranger. 10 Sounds banks come with a brand new acoustic Grand Piano, a series of Multilayer Electric Pianos, an incredible selection of Strings and Brass, new acoustic and electric guitars, a completely renewed series of Pad, Synth, Bass and Ethnic voices.
The instrument features 2 Voice sections, each capable of handling up to 3 simultaneous voices with 2 separate EFX Inserts. The Real Solos are solo instruments such as Trumpet, Violin, Sax, Flute, Oboe etc. with distinctive sounds, refined controls over Aftertouch, Round Robin, Articulation and natural decay of samples, all for delivering the authentic feel of real musicians playing.
The Organ section is crafted with particular attention: a wide variety of sounds from original electric organs that can be mixed with the digital Drawbars, combining the high quality textures of the first with the real organ fell of the latter (Twin Organ). In addition to the outstanding internal voice editing system, EVM also features a new 2.5 GB User Sampler: you can upload new factory sound banks (SBK) on the nonvolatile Flash memory or create new custom sounds on up to 4 stereo layers.
More Sounds, More Creativity
Micro / Voicetron
EVM has a microphone menu with 2 inputs (Micro 1 and Micro 2) with relative gain controls and new dedicated effects, along with an individual audio output for the Micro 1. The Voicetron section has been revamped with new harmony effects and many parametric controls for an accurate tone customization.

They are equipped with all the classic Karaoke functions such as viewing the Lyrics on an external display, Lead Mute, Crossfade, Search and Fade Out. A common use of Stem is the playback of backing tracks with or without singing (Minus One), a particularly useful application for singers, guitarists in a live performance, but also for reed instrument soloists such as sax or trumpet.
ACCORDION
When controlled by a MIDI accordion, EVM becomes the hearth of the show. Using the Classic mode, the accordionist can select different sounds for the right and the left hand. These combinations can be saved as Registrations and can be recalled in any moment of the performance. The jazz accordionist can also greatly benefit from the internal drum styles.
Connectivity
Latency-Free
The EVM features dedicated connections for audio, video, file management, and remote control. The HDMI port not only allows the display of lyrics on an external screen but also allows for control of the EVM in all its functions, showing all instrument commands on the screen. You can connect a mouse or a touchscreen monitor to one of the available USB ports for an intuitive, spacious, and functional control surface.
The displayed interface is fast and without latency. For those who prefer a more agile use of the instrument, it is possible to activate remote control mode via VN (Virtual Network Computing). Install your preferred VNC client on a tablet or PC and connect remotely to the EVM. Connection can occur in two different configurations: via the Wi-Fi network generated by the instrument for maximum mobility, or through an Ethernet network cable.
For maximum connection flexibility in any situation, the Ethernet cable can be directly connected to the instrument (e.g., in the case of a live performance) or to a router if you want to integrate the EVM into your home or studio LAN. The EVM has a microphone input with phantom power (48V) and a second input that allows the handling of microphone, line, or high-impedance signals. This enables the connection of any audio source to the instrument, whether it’s a microphone, guitar, smartphone, or tablet. Bluetooth enables audio streaming from external devices such as smartphones and tablets, expanding the possibilities for playing music or backing tracks.
Guitar
Dedicated Effects
The EVM is also very suitable for the solo Guitar performer, thanks to the Guitar Input with dedicated Effects (Chorus, Reverb, Delay, Distortion, Cabinet Speaker simulation etc.). With a suitable audio-to-Midi conversion system you can connect to the module even a regular electric or acoustic guitar.
Digital Piano/Keyboards
Greatly Enhanced
The ideal and most immediate connection for the EVM is undoubtedly the one with Digital Pianos, Master keyboards, Arrangers, Electronic organs and any other MIDI keyboard. The EVM will allow you to greatly enhance the orchestral sound palette of your current instruments, but will also put at your disposal an incredible variety of new top-quality arrangements. The module is conveniently set up for performance with Arranger on the left and Voice on the right. The Ketron EVM module at a glance:
With the EVM, Ketron presents a state-of-the-art Arranger module that not only offers a comprehensive range of sounds, but also top entertainer features. Created for solo entertainers, bands, performers, solo artists and songwriters, the module is equipped with cutting-edge features that make making music and working on the instrument a real pleasure. It is best suited to enriching an existing keyboard or digital piano with the high-quality sounds and possibilities of the Ketron Event series.
Structure:
The 216-voice polyphony is distributed over all parts and is sufficiently high even in denser arrangements so that no note breaks off prematurely.
Another highlight of the EVENT EVM are the two independent players, which can play MIDI files, MP3, WAV, TXT, PDF, MP4 and other formats in any combination. This enables the mixing and synchronized playback of two different music and even image formats. This is ideal for a professionally accompanied karaoke evening, for example, if the lyrics are played in parallel with the MIDI file and this is to be displayed on a TV via the HDMI output.
A workhorse for the stage and for songwriters
In its capacity as an arranger keyboard, the Ketron EVENT is ideally equipped. Hardly any genre is left out and the combination possibilities during live playing as well as with prepared tracks are simply enormous! Styles and patterns can be exchanged and varied in tempo at lightning speed. With over 400 styles divided into Real, Live, MIDI and User; 580 live drums, 780 grooves, 216 guitar patterns, over 300 chord patterns and 256 bass patterns, everything you could wish for is on board for a successful start. Naturally, you can also create your own styles, grooves, patterns and chord patterns! A stem player is also implemented in the EVENT 61. This makes it possible to play several audio tracks simultaneously in perfect synchronization. The audio tracks have individual mute and volume controls and you can adjust the transposition and tempo of all tracks simultaneously without changing the pitch of the drums. For example, you can exclude the piano or bass line if you want to play it yourself live. Typical applications for the stems are songs, or with or without lead track, especially interesting for entertainers such as singers, guitarists or saxophonists, or for general audio riffs that are suitable for jam improvisations.
Sounds & effects
The 2.5 GB sound memory provides a selection of over 1280 high-quality tones and 62 percussion sets, which are ideal for various styles such as rock, pop, pop songs, folk or evergreens. There are also numerous memory locations for user-created sounds. Thanks to the nine sliders to the left of the touchscreen, the most important parameters of the organ section are directly accessible! To give the sounds the finishing touch, Ketron has pulled out all the stops and provided the Ketron EVENT Keyboard with several effect variants for delay, reverb, distortion and various modulation effects (including chorus, flanger, phaser) and provided it with sufficient controls for direct access. In addition, the microphone input is equipped with a three-voice vocal harmonizer (Voicetron), so that even vocal choirs and backgrounds can be created in no time at all. The integrated audio mixer allows detailed settings for each track and even includes the various players.
Professional connections
The rear of the EVENT 61 is pleasingly well equipped. In addition to the keyboard, there are the Expression and Sustain foot pedal connections and the FS6 and FS13 pedalboards. This increases the expressive possibilities on the keyboard with the usual pedals. MIDI communicates via the DIN connections 2xIn/Out/Thru and USB. This is perfect for anyone who wants to operate additional equipment such as a second keyboard manual, a rack expander or a DAW with the EVENT 61. In its capacity as a complete all-in-one Live instrument, audio inputs are of course a must! On the input side, the keyboard scores with an RCA stereo line input and two microphone inputs with XLR combo socket and 6.3 mm jack. The first microphone input even has a direct output. There are six 6.3 mm jack sockets for signal output, which can be assigned to the tracks and players of the EVENT 61 in three stereo pairs. There are two USB host ports for expanding the memory and connecting additional keyboards and controllers. The HDMI video output displays song lyrics, scores or the mirrored Display on a connected TV or projector.
The SD1000 offers an outstanding number of audio Loops of Drums and Percussions, split up into the widest variety of musical genres, which certainly make the SD1000 stand out from other similar modules.
The module’s top application is when it is combined with a MIDI player (such as KETRON MIDJAY for example), or with a sequencer on computer (Logic®, Cubase®, Cakewalk® and others), but it can also be connected to Master keyboards or multi-purpose Keyboards (Arranger, Synth, Digital pianos, etc.).
USB MIDI PORT
Thanks to its integrated USB port, it can be easily connected to a laptop and used in the world of musical entertainment to play back Midifiles or to improve the poor sound quality of the integrated audio boards in personal computers.
Thanks to two separate MIDI ports (2×16 channels), it can play back 2 different midifiles simultaneously, so that it is possible to mix two different songs directly or switch gradually from one to another.
It has never been so easy to create a top quality yet inexpensive entertainment station so quickly, reliably and safely!

In this context, the SD1000 is able to express its potential to its best.
It can be connected to a computer (PC or Mac) via USB, via the Midi cable (if you already have a board with Midi interface), or via the Midi to USB cable supplied as an optional accessory by KETRON.
Using sequencer programs such as Cubase®, Logic®, Cakewalk® or similar, you can add the SD1000 successfully to musical elaborations (Midi files, Jingles, Mix Audio, etc.), fully exploiting its impressive sound versatility.
To make it easier to integrate the instrument in the most popular musical production software platforms, KETRON offers a number of templates (which you can download free of charge from the website) thanks to which you can easily and immediately control all the instrument’s resources (sounds, effects, drum sets) directly from your preferred sequencer.
Click here to download SD1000 Software Utility programs (sound editor, ins templates, and Loop library).
The SD1000 can be used as a supplementary module to enrich the timbre range of your keyboard. It is also just as suitable to be coupled with Master keyboards that do not have any sounds or with the modern mini remote keyboards (multimedia keyboards), which have become more and more popular in the live set. We are convinced that such a powerful yet compact sound module can certainly become a part of every musical set up.
Audio Loops and New Sounds.
In addition to the well-known timbres of the reference standard (GM), the SD1000 comprises other Sound Banks with lots of characteristic sounds of the conventional families (Pianos, Strings, Sax, and Brass etc).
The top feature of the SD1000 compared with other sound modules is definitely the presence of so many audio Loops (Drum Loops, which can be downloaded free of charge from our website). Just think, you can add these Loops to your musical creations….to enrich, if not even replace, the rhythms of the songs and to make the difference with everything that has already been elaborated within the Midi files.
Just a quick example: Imagine a Midi file of Caribbean music, where the Latin percussion parts are not always convincing. You can add some Patterns from the database of the Loops in addition to or, even better, to replace the existent Drum track (Copy & Paste). In just a few moves, you can replace the Midi rhythmic structure with audio Loops with amazing results. Obviously, once the musical file is complete, you can save it in whichever format you prefer and play it back with any sequencer or Midi player (e.g. MIDJAY or similar) by connecting it to your SD1000.
On the list of the Sound Library of the SD1000 (available in the instruction manual) you will notice some initials next to some Voices. These initials help you to better understand how they were obtained and how to use them in the best way possible in your musical productions. (M): MULTIVOICE. These sounds are obtained with two or more voices simultaneously. (ST): STEREO. These sounds are really Stereo sounds because they are created with two samples for each note played. (LDM): LIVE DRUM MODELLING. In these Drum Sets, some instruments (such as the Snare, Rim shot, Claps or other) play with different samples on the same timbre. These samples are addressed casually to reproduce the sound variables of a live rhythmical performance in the best way possible. (FXV): EFX INSERT VOICE. The last 9 Voices listed on the Sound List of the SD1000 are obtained (just as an example) using effects in the EFX Insert mode (such as HQ Overdrive, Chorus and others). We suggest you use this feature to strengthen the sound quality of the musical productions with the SD1000.
A powerful and flexible DSP.
The SD1000 has a powerful and flexible DSP, which is incredibly versatile and programmable. In addition to the two Reverb and Chorus sections, there will also be a Rotary and Wha Wha effect and a Hi Quality Distortion.
Two Insert effects with Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, 4 Band Parametric EQ, Compressor and Delay can be connected to the tracks of the midifiles played back to provide further realism and vitality to the sounds of the SD1000.
The Midjay Guitar Pro is a true “Hybrid” sound module musicians. It perfectly merges Audio and MIDI functionality in a small portable box. This ground breaking entertainment module is a solo musician’s dream.
Gone are the days when electronic instruments and drums sounded “canned.” The Midjay Pro puts life into your existing or new music with live drums and authentic bass and guitars. Plus, it’s a multimedia player for MIDI, WAV, MP3, MP4, JPEG images, Karaoke, and DVI.
The Midjay Guitar Pro can crossfade between audio and MIDI files. Guitar players in particular will be well served by the available Preset Guitar Effects by simply plugging their guitar and microphone into the module and leaving all stomp boxes at home.
The ability to synchronize the BPM of MIDI files to AUDIO means you are no longer restricted to just MIDI sounds. Your guitar or drum recordings can now be synchronized to your own MIDI files or commercial MIDI files to create breathtaking performances and studio recordings.
Over 200 Audio drum loops can now be used in your sequences like never before in other modules. As we all know, the weakest link in standard MIDI files is their mechanical sounding drums. Now you can really liven up your MIDI sequences by replacing those canned MIDI drums with real Audio drums.
Over 140 onboard Patterns ensure that right out of the box, you will be using your Midjay Pro instantly with your music, be it Latin, Pop, RnB, Soul, Jazz, Country — you name it, we’ve got you covered. And, the AJAMSONIC upgrade kit throws in another 120+ styles and refined voices.
Drum Modeling further enhances drums by automatically using many random drum samples within the current drum kit (for snare, rim shots, congas, etc.) to create the live feel of a real drummer. Furthermore, these instruments are never played the same way twice.
